Samsung Electronics is looking to increase its presence among Chinese consumers with the release of its Galaxy Fold Foldable Phone.

Set to go on sale in the Chinese market in Nov. 8, the Galaxy Fold will compete with Huawei’s first foldable smartphone, the Mate X, which is set to be released on Nov. 15.

Considering Samsung’s share of the Chinese smartphone market is less than 1%, the Galaxy Fold’s success is crucial.
