Vivo, the Chinese smartphone brand, has launched a couple of new smartphones in its home market, the Vivo Nex 3 and the Vivo Nex 3 5G.
These phones are likely to make their appearance in the other markets later.
In China itself, they go on sale starting September 21. The smartphones have some high-end specs and as a highlighted feature, side keys have been provided touching, which creates a vibration sensation.
Going into the specifications of the devices, both have practically the same specifications and features. The display is a quite large at 6.89 inches and it is a full HD+ AMOLED waterfall display without any notch or hole. The screen resolution is 1080×2256 pixels. The entire screen is virtually available for display, with the screen to body ratio being 99.6%.
The latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor is the CPU couple with the Adreno 640 as the GPU for graphics. The RAM support is 8GB, while a higher 12GB variant is available as well. Similarly, internal storage starts at 126GB and goes up to 512GB. The Vivo Nex 3 5G starts at 256GB.
There is a circular module at the rear of the Vivo Nex 3 and Nex 3 5G phones to house the triple camera arrangement. The Samsung GW1 64MP sensor is the primary shooter along with 2x13MP sensors. One of them is a wide-angle lens while the third is the telephoto lens.
There is a popup arrangement for the front selfie camera of 16MP rating. The battery is 4,500mAh and it has a 44W ultra-fast charging support. Connectivity options include Connectivity options include 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth v5, NFC, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and GPS + GLONASS.
