Xiaomi has reportedly plans to launch three foldable phones with different designs next year.
According to Display analyst Ross Young, the brand is expected to unveil foldable phones with designs such as external folding, internal folding and clamshell, GizmoChina reports.
Young added that Xiaomi’s foldable foldable phone will be like the Huawei Mate X. There is a possibility that the foldable device may have a display of around 8 inches.
Display analyst Ross Young said earlier this month that companies such as OPPO, Vivo and Xiaomi will jointly launch four foldable phones in 2021. He also said that Google will also launch a foldable phone in the next year.
Recently, Xiaomi filed a patent for a foldable smartphone with a four-camera system that rotates forward for selfies and backward for regular photos.
The smartphone maker has filed the design patent for an internal folding phone in China and has also put up 48 images to show the phone. More
