As 2020 begins, a number of manufacturers are going to be introducing new concepts, designs, and hardware to their portfolios.
Notably, Apple will finally jump on the 5G bandwagon, OnePlus is looking at a third ‘Lite’ range of handsets, and Samsung is going to have another swing at a folding smartphone.
Last year saw Samsung bring the Galaxy Fold to market in the summer, after a false start in early April with review units highlighting areas of improvement needed in the hinge. It was either a case of rushing to market or the price you pay living on the bleeding edge of tech – I suspect that it was a mix of the two.
No matter, the lessons will have been learned, the reviews read, and customer feedback understood. And Samsung is ready to release the Galaxy Fold II Foldable Phone.
And there’s every chance it’s going to be a radical flip phone.
